Wow we did it again! We are so proud to have won another Enterprise Vision Award (EVAS). Last year we won Creative Industry Of The Year and this time we have scooped Small Business Of The Year. What makes us so proud of this award is that it was independently judged.
The EVAS2015 took place at the end of September at the fabulous Empress Ballroom in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. Check out our videos from the night.
Small Business of the Year
We couldn’t have won this award without the loyalty, creativity and help of the fantastic design team at bwd. Bev said ‘I couldn’t have won the award without the support of my design team and want to give a special mention to Ria Parkinson, Senior Designer at bwd, who is an amazing person and really talented designer. I like to think I live by what Richard Branson once said about running a business ” There’s no magic formula for great company culture…the key is to treat your staff how you would like to be treated”.
Bev’s attitude, to not only supporting her own staff but, to nurturing students starting out in the creative sector was rewarded earlier this year by her appointment to the board of Creative Lancashire (read more on our previous blog On Board). The Creative Lancashire team recognised Bev’s dedication to the sector and invited her onto the board to help raise the profile of Lancashire’s creative talent.
Our night in Blackpool at the Winter Gardens was amazing. The team at Pink Link Ladies did a fantastic job with the preparations for the night and the room looked stunning.
We attended the EVAS2015 with no expectation other than to have a great night in the company of friends, colleagues and other inspirational female business owners. We met friends old and new and had a briliant night.
