If you are one of the estimated eight million people in London on Tuesday 20th May, you might see our very own design supremo Ria who will be at ExCeL London.
We love to keep up to date with what’s happening in the design sector and that’s why Ria is visiting the May Design Series.
Material Xperience On Tour is a touring version of the famous Material Xperience show, hosted each year in the Netherlands. The theme for this year’s edition is “The Smart Environment”.
The designed and built world is complex and is getting more connected by the day. Designers are fully aware of this. But there are many challenges ahead and we need clever people with clever solutions to help overcome these. Materials, the basic building blocks of our physical environment, can help improve our surroundings and prepare us for a smart future.”

Cannot make the show? No need to worry. Watch live expert speakers on the The Conversation Series Live Stream (may only work between 18-20th May 2014)
You will also find Ria at the Clerkenwell Design Week around the Farringdon and Barbican area to check out what’s going on. Ria is armed with a camera and a good pair of shoes and we will be show casing all the pictures when she get’s back.
Clerkenwell is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, making it truly one of the most important design hubs in the world.
To celebrate this rich and diverse community, CDW has created a showcase of leading UK and international brands and companies presented in a series of showroom events, pop-up exhibitions and special installations that take place across the area.
Entering its 5th year in 2014, the award-winning* CDW has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival and annually attracts the international design community to this small area of London for three days of exciting events.” – See more at: http://www.clerkenwelldesignweek.com/visitor/about
