As an experienced design agency we know inspiration can come from many sources. We often find a great way to inspire our creativity it to attend various events both within and outside the design sector. One such event, starting this weekend in Blackpool is Sand, Sea and Spray.

40 Artists from 4 Continents Painting Live In Blackpool.  Sand Sea and Spray will be returning to Blackpool again on

Friday 14th Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2013!

Don’t forget to pack your budgie smugglers, slide into your smartest sandals and smear yourself in St. Tropez. Remember… life’s a beach!

So what type of art will you sea (intentionally poor pun on our part) at this event? Well take a look at the video below for an extraordinary project from Italian artist ZED1.

We really love the construction of this piece, which develops over time, and the artists involved really do play the waiting game to get inspiring results. Also, art like this brings to life unused and dilapidated buildings.

This is an event of not just local but international talent and we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep. Blackpool often receives negative coverage in the media and it is a shame this event is not being promoted as a positive for Blackpool.

Are you going to the Sand, Sea and Spray event? Let us know the pieces you like the most?
